Hey Promoters,
About a month ago, I was coming back from South Beach after a
weekend of partying. It was my friend's bachelor party so all
my friends from across the country flew down to Miami for one
last rock star weekend.
On Sunday afternoon I went to the airport for my flight back and
they announced that they had over-booked the flight and asked
if anyone would like to take a flight the next day for
a "special offer".
One of my friends went up to see what the "special offer" was...
Well it turns out the airline was so desperate to get people
off the plane that they offered a $750 voucher on that
airline, free dinner, and a hotel for the night.
We all thought it was a good deal---after all $750 airline
dollars is as good as cash and I could use that to fly to
Europe or Hawaii, on their tab, after my busy season is over.
(Right after New Years)
All my friends wanted to jump on the offer but they all said
the same thing...
"I can't miss work tomorrow"
or
"my boss would kill me if I called in sick"
All of my friends with "great jobs"...all those lawyers, stock
brokers, and salesmen were back on a plane to go sit in their
office the next day...but since I own my own promoting business,
I was the one that was able to take advantage of this offer.
I quickly ate dinner, then called my friend that lived in South
Beach and he came and picked me up. We went out to a couple of
hot spots and partied all night long. (And if you have ever
partied in South Beach, you know Sunday nights might just be
the best night of the week!)
...So why am I telling you this story?
It's not the fact that I got $750 from the airlines, it's the
fact that I COULD take the offer. If I wanted to go home and
go to sleep, I could've done that...or I could've stayed in
Miami and partied at the expense of the airlines...I had the
FREEDOM to choose!
I strongly believe that you can't put a price on the
freedom that comes with owning your own business (or the
unlimited earning potential that comes with it too).

1.) No more 9 to 5 -- A.K.A. Flexible Hours
When you have your own promoting business, you can set your
hours however you want. If you want to sleep until the
afternoon, so be it.
Maybe you work better at night (I know I do) and you'd prefer
to sleep late, relax during the day, and then work into the night.
It's your business, you decide when you work!
What this also means is if you have a full-time job or classes
to attend, you are able to work around these things.

With all the advances in technology, I see less and less of
a reason to ever go into an office. The internet has made it
so easy to run a businesses out of your house, apartment or
even your dorm room...
All you need is a computer and a phone and you can have a
business up and running in a few days.
This is great because traffic is getting worse and worse in
this country and if you can own a business that you run out
of your own home, you don't have to spend 2 hours driving in
traffic to get to your job.
You can wake up, have a red-bull and then turn on your computer
and start working...you don't even have to get dressed!

4.) YOU are the Key to your success:
In Corporate America, if you're doing great at your job and
helping the business succeed, a few things will happen:
-you get a pat on the back
-your boss will take the credit
-the company will make more money
But how much does that really help YOU?
However, when you have your own business, YOU are solely
responsible for the success of the company and you are the one
that gets rewarded when business is good. All your hard work
can be seen directly in YOUR bank account!!!
Which leads to the last, and most important point...

5.) Make unlimited money:
In most ordinary jobs, you work so many hours a week with a
certain amount of pay per hour. Or, you are salaried, so
you work tons of hours a week and get paid one set amount no
matter how well you do or how well the company is doing.
When you own your own business, how much you make is entirely
dependent upon you and your efforts.
If you want to put in a few extra hours one night and make some
extra money, you can. If you want to throw another party a week
to take your weekly earnings to the next level...that's totally
up to you!
In an ordinary 9-5 job, you don't have the potential to make
as much money as you can if you own your own business.

but my point is, YOU can decide, where, when, and how much you
